How do I care for my jewelry?
Each Cup & Belle piece is made to be treasured. A little thoughtful care will help preserve its beauty for years to come.
Put your jewelry on last, after applying perfume, lotions, and cosmetics. Remove it before swimming, showering, exercising, sleeping, or household cleaning. Avoid chlorine, cleaning products, and harsh chemicals.
Store each piece separately in the jewelry pouch or box you received from Cup and Belle. This helps to prevent scratches and tangling. Keep it away from humidity, direct sunlight, and excessive heat.
For metals and gemstones use a mild soap, warm water and a microfiber cloth to wipe off dirt and debris from your jewelry. Dry it immediately to prevent any tarnishing or other discoloration.
Pearls, opals, moonstones, emeralds, enamel, citrines, topazes and other soft gemstones: Wipe gently with a microfiber, slightly damp cloth and allow them to dry before storing. Never soak these gems, use steam, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive products. Doing so may cause cracks, blistering on the enamel and unraveling of silk threads. If you are unsure please take them to your personal jeweler to have them cleaned.
When you receive your jewelry inspect it to make sure it arrived in tact. If a setting feels loose, a clasp is damaged, or your piece needs attention contact us immediately. We will make arrangements to ship the jewelry back to us to repair it. There is a six month warrenty on our jewelry. Please keep packaging and receipt in the event anything happens to your jewelry.
